This combo is deadly for improving stabilization, pelvic posture, shoulder stability, metabolic demand, & fullbody power. Don't waste time in the gym. More muscles used = more calories burned.
It won't maximize strength but this exercise will def tax your chest, core & shoulder stabilizers :)
1. Combine stabilization endurance w a loaded movement exercise
2. Use 3-4 positions of flexion & focus on posture (i.e. don't let your shoulder or lower back position change as you lower the bar & or legs.
3. Phase 1 = set the body up for success perform the bench exercise alone, phase 2 = increased metabolic demand add the cycling split press (exer 2.)
4. Perform 6-8 reps of exer 1 and 4-8/si of exer 2.
5. A great giant set would be to combine w a stabilization & power exercise for back or a lower back exercise
