3. It is important to decide the quantum of loss or stop loss in trade first before deciding the quantity to be traded. It is also called position sizing.
4. The stop loss should not be too wide. You can use risk-reward ratio.
5. An investor or trader should not place stop loss near the known points like pivot points, day's high or low etc.
6. It is not advisable to change the stop loss once it is decided at the beginning of the trade.
7. Always remember that there is NO 2nd trade especially if the stop loss is hit due to stop loss hunting.
